  Café des Artistes, located on the square in historic Leonardtown, is a Classic Upscale Bistro where you can escape the culinary mundane and take a journey to the French countryside!  The promise of a true elegant country French meal -  moderately priced, a well-selected  wine list  with offerings from France to Leonardtown, the original Chef/Owner and staff still in tact after 11 years - is what makes Cafe des Artistes one of a kind.

   Outside, a quaint cobblestone patio sidewalk perfect for open-air dining - extremely popular during the summer 'First Friday' events and Sunday Brunch.   Inside, classic crisp earth tone tablecloths, in a softly lit dining room resembling a Country Inn, with piano every Friday & Saturday (Jazz Cabaret twice a month with a special Saturday for Late Night Jazz & Dancing).
   The  regular menu delights any palate with an array of culinary French offerings (as does the Prix-Fixe 3-course menu available until 6:00 pm for only $23.95).

   Both the staff and management of Cafe des Artistes love to welcome you into our 'home' every time you walk in the door!  It is our desire to make your visit with us a pleasant and memorable one.    In consideration of all guest reservations on the nights that we are typically booked to capacity (weekends & holidays), we schedule all table dining times for two hours.  This time designation is done in order to honor guests that are reserved for later dining.  If you would like to stay longer on any night please relay this when making your reservation and we will surely accommodate you!  We do this to ensure the level of satisfaction, comfort and quality you have come to know and deserve when dining at Cafe des Artistes!
